Club guide
Football presentation night food: a hot meal for the whole club
Feed players, families and coaches with freshly cooked fish and chips, loaded fries or burgers at your end-of-season presentation evening, booked and paid for by the club.

Why a food van
Why a food van suits presentation evenings
Presentation evenings bring players, families and coaches together, often in a busy clubhouse. Our van cooks outside, so there is no buffet to set out.
Guests come to the hatch, choose their meal and receive it hot and freshly cooked. You choose one menu and everyone chooses their own meal from it on the night.
Timing
Fitting food around the awards
Tell us your running order and we will plan service around it, whether you would like to eat before the presentations or after them.
We regularly serve more than 150 guests an hour, so everyone is fed in good time. Service usually runs for 1 to 2 hours, depending on your numbers.

Booking
How booking works for clubs
The club books and pays for the meals in advance, for a known number of guests.
- Option 1 Fish and Chip Van: £12 per person
- Option 2 Loaded Fries: £10 per person
- Option 3 Gourmet Burgers: £12 per person
A £50 booking fee secures the date and a £650 minimum spend applies on the day. As a guide, that covers about 55 guests on Option 1 or Option 3 and about 65 guests on Option 2.
Younger players
Feeding younger players
Children who would rather not have the toppings are welcome to have chicken nuggets and chips with Option 1 or popcorn chicken and fries with Option 2. These can be served plain or with ketchup, mayo or whichever condiment sachet they prefer. With Option 3, burgers can be provided plain or with ketchup and mustard sachets.
On the night
Drinks, bins and rain
Most venues sell their own drinks. If you do need us to bring them, we can supply bottled water or cans of pop at £1 each, arranged in advance.
Please make sure there are bins for the trays, cutlery and sachets. If it rains, our serving hatch opens out to give cover for two or three guests at a time.
Other events
Charity, church and school events too
We also cater charity, church and school events, when the organiser books and pays for the food in advance for a known number of guests. Our reviews include charity events.

What hosts say

The fish and chip van was fantastic – everyone raved about the quality, and the full menu meant there was something for absolutely everyone, including great vegetarian options. It was a real crowd-pleaser and added so much to the night. We’d definitely recommend them.

Questions
Presentation evening questions
How do we make sure only our guests are served?
At events in open or public spaces, you can give each guest a token, such as a raffle ticket or a poker chip. Guests hand their token in at the hatch. Tokens are provided by you as the host.
Do you need an electricity supply?
Not always. Your venue’s electric hook-up lets us run silently, which is ideal if you would like a quiet service. If we are serving away from a power supply, we bring our own suitcase generator, which makes a small amount of noise.
How far will you travel?
We travel to venues within about 35 miles of Swadlincote. Sometimes we can go a little further, depending on the size of the event. See the areas we cover.
